Robert Paul Rafferty

Mr. Robert Rafferty, 85, passed away Tuesday March 2, 2010, Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, MD. a resident of New Church, VA.
Born in Washington, D.C., on July 14, 1924. Mr. Rafferty was the son of Charles Russell Rafferty Sr. and Elizabeth Bell Rafferty, both deceased. He was a member of Saint Andrews Catholic Church on Chincoteague.
Mr. Rafferty is survived by one brother Charles Russell Rafferty Jr.; His nephew J. Joseph Beacom and wife Karen who were his care givers; niece Debra Rager and husband Steve; niece Darlene Maxfield and husband Eric; niece Barbara Dimartini and husband Bill; niece Donna Lottig and husband Bruce; niece Karen Graves; niece Charlene Graves; nephew T. Scott Graves Sr. and wife Debbie; nephew James Graves and wife Grisela; several second nieces, nephews as well as many cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Chincoteague Is., VA, March 6, 2010 at 9 AM with Father Paschal Kneip OSB. Interment Graveside burial services will be held at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery Bladensburg, MD on March 6th, 2010 at 2 PM.
