Ruth Ann Birch

Ruth Ann Birch, 65, of Chincoteague Island, VA, passed away on June 3, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She entered this world on July 29, 1957, at Nassawadox, VA. She was the beautiful daughter of Gary W Daisey & Betty Rae Daisey Miller.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Esther Bible Class and Accomack Chapter Eastern Star. Ruth Ann loved to decorate and design flowers and managed the Assateague Inn for the last 15 years. While managing the Assateague Inn, she made many friends that she regarded like family.

Ruth Ann is survived by her mother, Betty Rae Daisey Miller, her two sons, Chris Birch & Josh Birch (Angela), her three grandchildren, Samantha Gilbert, Roman and Isaac Birch, and her three brothers, Gary Daniel Daisey (Sandy), Matthew Daisey (Sherry) and Mark Daisey (Danielle). She is also survived by two step sisters, Lisa Cooley & Sharon Kellison, and a step brother Dave Miller (Edwina), Uncle Herbert Lee Daisey (Linda), and several nieces and cousins, special sisterfriend Mel from California, and her sweet dog Angel.
She was preceded in death by her father Gary W Daisey and her grandparents Herbert & Emma Daisey and Ralph & Ruth Turlington, her special step father Luther Miller, Uncles Delbert Cigar Daisey, Bobby Turlington, and Charles Ralph Turlington.
