Girls, I'm sorry to hear about your mom.I spent a many a Sunday at your house playing. Always had fun and good food. .We all were going to Pococmke Park for our yearly bible school picnic, and when your mom came out the door she had a basket full of fried chicken and  potato salad. She had been up for hours cooking. We usually had subs, what a treat.I've never forgotten that.

Sending my deepest sympathy to Theresa, Melodie, and Crystal.  I went to school with Theresa and spent time with her and her family many a time.  Always remember having dinner with them and Miss Ruth made those baked hotdogs stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon and BBQ sauce over top.  I remember Mr, Chick saying 'hit me with the mustard'.  Always remember the good times...they are priceless.  Since we're back living on the Island, if any of you are in the area, please stop by...same house I grew up in on South Main,  (((HUGS))) to you all!

Growing up next door to Leo and Cecil, I remember Ruth (and Chick and their girls) as true friends.  Gail was an older playmate and close friend.  So sorry to hear of the passing of the last of Gail's siblings.  To Theresa Lynn and Melody, you mom was a wonderful woman.  (Sorry, I didn't get to know Crystal or Carla--too young.)  Ruth's passing is like the closing of a chapter in my life.
