Sally Ann Drake, 83, wife of William E. Hopkins, resident of Bloxom, VA, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025. Sally was born in Rochester, NY, and grew up in Webster, NY. She was truly a sweet and caring person who did not have a mean bone in her body. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a lover of animals of all kinds. Horses and dogs were at the top of her list. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan who loved golf and running. Sally had a long career at Xerox in Rochester, NY, before moving to Genesee, PA, to begin a second career in social services in Potter Co, PA.
She is survived by her husband and partner of 30 years, her son Dana (Holly) of Appleton, WI, her brother Jim (Carolyn) of Orange, CA, sister Kathy (Gary), of Pine City, NY, brother Roger of Coconut Creek, FL, step-children Seth (Christine) and Sara (Michael) of Rochester, NY, and grandchildren Jo, Antnie, Kloie, Norman, Mason, Ivy and Leo.
