Sandra Slater Obituary
Sandra L Slater age 62 died unexpectedly on August 10th, 2023 in Horntown VA. She was preceded in death by her father Franklin Slater, her mother Connie Slater, and her sister Mindy Slater. She is survived by her loving husband Timothy Vancosky and children Addie Carey and Nathan Carter.
Born in Scranton Pa Sandy pursued her education at the University of Scranton where she earned a Master's Degree in Accounting. Sandy went on to own several Jackson Hewitt tax services’ which she ran for 23 years.
Sandy was a loving and caring person who never knew a stranger. Sandy was a true believer in God and prayed every day for her loved ones. Sandy will be truly missed by everyone that had the opportunity to know her.
There will be a celebration of life Saturday 3:00 pm at Salyer Funeral Home, Chincoteague Island, VA
