Sylvia S. Beebe, 84 of Chincoteague Island, VA went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 1st, at Riverside Shore Life Care at Parksley, Parksley.
Sylvia was born in Chincoteague Island, VA on May 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Virginia (Thornton) and Archie Merritt.
She was the widow of Donald W. Beebe.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Chincoteague Island, VA.
She is survived by two children, Ginger Birch and her husband Bill of Chincoteague Island, VA, John Shreves and his wife Kathy of LaHabra, CA; four grandchildren, William Birch of Wake Forest, NC, Leonard Birch of Chincoteague Island, VA, Jonathan Shreves of LaHabra, CA, Kelsey Shreves of LaHabra, CA; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Virginia Lee Shreves and Joyce Shreves.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday 1-2 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc. in Chincoteague Island, VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA, at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 4th, with Rev. Jack Merritt officiating.
