Teresa Borum Obituary
Teresa Michelle Borum, born on October 12th, 1964 (Age 60), passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on April 12th, 2025. She is survived by her sons Zachery White and Jesse Vayo. Daughter Kristi Vayo (Chris Pfaffl). Grandsons Alex Vayo, Wilder Pfaffl, and Cayden Dupler. Granddaughter Willow Pfaffl. Father William L. “Bill” Borum (Kathy Borum). Brothers Stanley Borum (Amy Borum) and Dale Borum Sr. (Jacqueline Pinder). Nephews Dale Borum Jr. and Joshua Borum. Niece Trisha Walker (Walter Walker). Loving boyfriend William Shiertenlieb. She is deceased by Mother Katherine Borum, Nephew William S “Billy” Borum, and best friend Dale Hallman.
Teresa was a loving person who enjoyed her family, friends, and just life itself. She enjoyed the shore life, including boating, fishing, BBQs, and, very much so, seafood. She loved her some steamed crabs and an orange crush. Teresa was a good friend, sister, mother, daughter, and grandmother. She was kind and thoughtful. Teresa worked multiple jobs in her lifetime, including a server at multiple restaurants, a storage manager, a cashier for convenience stores, and the list goes on.
She is being cremated by Salyers Funeral Home and will be buried in the First Baptist Cemetery in Pocomoke, MD. We are having a private ceremony for close friends and family.
We will miss her, and if you knew her, I’m sure you will too! Thank you to all the friends and family for the support and love during this difficult time.
