Thalia Virginia "Miss T" Watson

Thalia Virginia "Miss T" Watson, 95, of Nelsonia, VA passed away on January 1, 2022, at Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, VA.  
She was born on Chincoteague Island, VA on December 18, 1926, to the late Arthur and Edna (Moore) Taylor.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Rainbow Sister Sunday School Class, Chancel Choir, and Union Baptist Ladies Choir.  She and her husband owned and operated Watson Groceries and The Lighthouse Inn and Motel for many years.
Thalia is survived by her son, David Royce Watson and his wife Rebecca of Nelsonia, VA; Granddaughter, Heather Watson Spence and her husband Shawn of Oyster, VA; great grandchildren Jillian and Porter Spence of Oyster, VA; several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents and Husband of 56 years, Wheatley Watson.  
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, 2:00 pm at the Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, with, Rev. Maurice Enright officiating.
