Thelma Harenberg

Mrs. Thelma T. Harenberg, 87, wife of the late George Harenberg and a resident of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away Thursday, August 26th, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.
Thelma was born in Queens, NY on May 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Francis and Theresa M. (Ellison) Weidner.
She was an active member of Saint Andrew Catholic Church and 3C's Club.
She was the mother of five children; her son George Harenberg and his wife Lynda, her son Paul Harenberg and Karen, a daughter Terri Piano, a daughter Eileen DeMeo whom preceded her in death and her husband Dominick DeMeo and a daughter Frances Brizak and her husband Andrew. She is survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, at 10 AM on Monday, August 30th, with Father Paschal Kneip OSB officiating followed by a Celebration of Life at the social hall.
