Mr. Thomas R. Dukes, 60, of New Church, VA. passed away Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 at Chincoteague Island , VA.
Tommy was born in Salisbury, Maryland on August 5, 1949, the son of the late Thomas and Eula (Jones) Dukes.
He was a member of Island Baptist Church Chincoteague Island, VA.
He retired from Lockhead Martin on August 5, 2009 after 24 years.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Dukes of New Church, VA; a daughter Dana Paterra and her husband Ray of Cambridge, MD; a son Jonathan Dukes and his wife Carrie of Yorktown, VA; a brother David Dukes and his wife Carol of Gloucester, VA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Friday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Island Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, at 11 AM on Saturday, July 24th, with Rev. Nathan Walker officiating.
Interment will be held at John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery Temperanceville, VA.
