Toni Bowden

Mrs. Toni L. Bowden, 62, of New Church, VA passed away Thursday, September 9th, 2010 at her residence.
Toni was born in Nassawadox, VA on January 31, 1948, the daughter of the late Nathan and Gloria (Hancock) Hill.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church Chincoteague, Va and Accomack Chapter #62 Order of Eastern Star. She worked at the Wildlife Refuge on Assateague for many years.
She was the wife of Howard Lee Bowden of New Church, VA.
She is survived by a daughter Colleen Kean and her husband Colin of Atlantic, VA; two sons David Dean Bowden Sr. and his wife Sandra of Wattsville, Va, Derrick Daniel Bowden and his wife Sandra of Temperanceville, VA; Six Grandchildren, Courtney Bowden of Parksley, VA, Kelsey Thomas of Temperanceville, VA, Allie Kean of Atlantic, VA, Summer Bowden of Wattsville, VA, Dakota Bowden of Temperanceville, VA, David Dean Bowden Jr. of Wattsville, VA; one brother Nathan Hill and his wife Roxanne of Chincoteague, VA; two sisters, Jennifer Morin and her husband Stephen of Dover, DE, Traci Robbins and her husband Pat of Chincoteague, VA; several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call from Sunday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc in Chincoteague, VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, at 2 PM on Monday, September 13th, with Rev. Kevin Eley officiating.
Interment will be held at Daisey Cemetery, Church St. Chincoteague, VA.
