Mrs. Tricia Tatem Smith, 40, of Atlantic, VA. went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 2nd, 2010 on Chincoteague, VA.
Tricia was born in Nassawadox, VA on July 8, 1970, the daughter of Paul A. Tatem Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Chincoteague, VA and Geraldine (Reed) Deuter and her husband Harold of Mears. VA.
She was a member of Chincoteague Church of God Chincoteague Island, VA and MOPS.
She worked as a Nurse for Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD.
She is survived by her husband William Patrick Smith of Atlantic, VA; three sons, Tyler Matthew Holland, Cole Hunter Smith, and Tallon Evan Smith all of Atlantic, VA; two brothers Paul Eric Tatem of Mears, Adam Richard Tatem of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters Lindsay Tatem Clark and her husband Al of Atlantic, VA, Terra Nicole Tatem of Virginia Beach, VA; a mother and father-in-law Austin and Teresa Smith of Chincoteague, VA; one nephew Trenton Allen Clark of Atlantic, VA and three nieces Alyson Tatem Clark of Atlantic, VA, Grace and Madelyn Fox of Atlantic, VA; a brother-in-law Jon Smith of Chincoteague, VA; a sister-in-law Jackie and her husband Gary of Atlantic, VA; and an aunt Debbie Tatem of Portsmouth, VA.
Funeral Service will be held at Chincoteague Church of God, Chincoteague Island, VA, at 2 PM on Friday, August 6th, with Rev. John Thorne officiating and a viewing a hour before, from 1-2 PM.
Interment will be held at John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery Temperanceville, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Eastern Shore 165 Market Street Onancock, VA 23417.
