Virginia Bowers Obituary
Virginia Marie Bowers, 88, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on January 10, 2022 at Tidal Health in Salisbury, MD.
She was born in Barrackville, WV on July 16, 1933 to the late Calvin and Ella (Goff) Toland.
She was a member of Chincoteague Church of God.
Virginia is survived by her loving daughters, Nancy Suzan Adams and her husband Joe of Chincoteague Island, VA, Brenda Kay Kelly and her husband Tommy of Jessup, MD; five granddaughters, Chrissy Neighbors and her husband Jimmie of Charlestown, WV, Suzy Adams of Chincoteague Island, VA, Tina Peratino and her husband Eric of Bowie, MD, Ashley Showell and her husband Brett of NC, Carrie Underwood and her husband Jason of GA; six great grandsons and one great granddaughter; sister, Mary Musgrave of Fairmont, WV; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 69 years, James Keith Bowers.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, 11:00 am at the Temperanceville Church of Christ, Temperanceville, VA, with Wayne Mathis officiating.
