William J. Boothe

Mr. William J. Boothe, 72, of Chincoteague Island, Va went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 at his residence.
William was born in Chincoteague, Virginia on July 5, 1936, the son of the late Roland and Catherine (Lewis) Boothe.
He was a member of Church of God on Chincoteague Island, VA .
He worked as a Commercial Fisherman.
William is survived by his wife of 51 years Bonnie Boothe of Chincoteague Island, VA
a daughter, Billie S. Ransley and her husband Larry of New Church, VA.
a sister, Barbara Bowden and her husband George of Chincoteague Island, VA; a sister-in-law Cleo Boothe of Chincoteague Island, VA; one granddaughter Michelle Clark of New Church, VA and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by brother Robert C. Boothe
Funeral Service will be held at Church of God, Chincoteague Island, VA, at 2 PM on Sunday, May 31st, with Rev. John Thorne officiating.
Friends are invited to call Saturday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc..
Interment will be held at Daisey Cemetery, Ridge Road, Chincotegue, VA.
