William Elliott

Mr. William Louis Elliott, 88, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at his residence.
William was born in Chincoteauge, VA on February 8, 1921, the son of the late Louis and Florence (McGee) Elliott.
He was a member of Island Baptist Church Chincoteague Island, VA 23336.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Chief from1938-1945.
He retired as a Procurement Specialist from NASA.
He was the husband of Melva Elliott.
William is survived by
a daughter, Lynn Capra of Chesapeake, VA.
He is also survived by Three grandchildren Joel, Joshua, and Jonathan Capra of Chesapeake, VA
One special niece Jerry Turlington and her husband Bobby of Chincoteague, VA. Several nieces and nephews
Funeral Service at Island Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, VA, at 2 PM on Friday, May 22nd, with Chaplain Larry Lilly officiating.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday 7-9 PM. at Salyer Funeral Home, Inc..
Interment at John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery Temperenceville, VA.
