Sometime later, he moved the family off the island to work as an auto mechanic and eventually owned his own shop.

He is survived by his children, Jesse Dwayne Johnson and his fiancée, Krystal Wilt, of Stockton, Maryland, Lori Marie Johnson and her fiancé, C.W. Parks, of Mears Station, Virginia, Billy-Joe Johnson and his wife, Laura, of Stockton, Maryland, and Windy Grace Mason of Onancock, Virginia, brothers, Rev.
